Winner Announcement: BPA Maritime⚓ Essay Competition

The Belize Port Authority recently organized the National Maritime Essay Competition to mark World Maritime Day 2023. Participants were invited to explore the topic of “The Role of MARPOL in protecting Belize’s marine environment,” aligning with the theme “MARPOL at 50 – Our commitment goes on”.
We are pleased to announce the winners of the competition:
First Place: Gavin Marvin Dakers (Belize High School)
Second Place: Alyssa Cal (Pallotti High School)
Third Place: Aaryn Vaughan (Palloti High School)
