The Final Stakeholder Consultation for the Belize National Energy Policy 2023 – 2040 took place yesterday, August 22nd, at the Belize Biltmore Plaza in Belize City.
Once approved by the Cabinet, the proposed energy policy will be enacted following this consultation. We extend our appreciation to the participation and attendance of both the public and private sectors, whose insights and contributions have played a crucial role.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the European Union in Belize for their generous funding of this initiative. Furthermore, we acknowledge the invaluable support provided by the technical assistance team, GFA Consulting Group GmbH consortium, and the Energy Unit. Their contributions were absolutely vital in making this project a success.
