The Strengthening Civil Registry Project

The Strengthening Civil Registry Project, being executed through a collaboration with the Attorney General’s Ministry and the Ministry, maintains as a key component, the design, development and implementation of a Digital Registry System for the Vital Statistics Unit.
A registry system development kick off meeting was held with the VSU to orientate stakeholders on the various stages of the project. The meeting also served to gather first hand information from frontline VSU staff which will directly influence the design of the registry system.
The new registry system is envisioned to expedite and facilitate ease of access to government services for the public from the Vital Statistics Unit.
