MINISTRY'S OVERVIEW

The Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics & E-Governance (MPUELE) is rather a new ministry. In this Ministry, the different departments, which include Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics, and E-Governance, come together as one.
- The Belize Energy Unit plans, promotes, and effectively manages the production, delivery, and use of energy through energy efficiency, renewable energy, and cleaner production interventions for the sustainable development of Belize.
- The E-Governance and Digitalization Unit was established in 2020. This unit, under the Ministry, is responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of E-Governance in Belize, transforming government services and spurring technological innovation and development of the digital economy.
- The Belize Postal Services provides efficient, affordable, and reliable postal services to all Belizeans. They modernize and expand postal infrastructure to provide competitive services for the benefit of the Belizean people.
